Cargo Liner for SUVs - XL

We use heavy-duty materials in our seat covers and cargo liners, and they are highly chew resistant under normal use. However, we don’t claim that our products are “chew proof” — because no soft good truly is.We never want to tell customers something we know isn’t accurate. In reality, a determined dog can chew through almost anything. Over the years, we’ve seen dogs destroy items far tougher than any fabric: kitchen tables, couches, drywall, and even products marketed as “indestructible.”

Because no soft-goods product can honestly guarantee that a dog will not cause damage. Some materials are more chew resistant than others — and 4Knines uses extremely durable, tightly woven, heavy-duty fabrics — but nothing made from fabric can be considered chew proof. We’re committed to being upfront and transparent so you always know exactly what to expect from our products.

The most important factor is supervised use, just as you would with any dog product. Under normal use, our covers hold up exceptionally well. Supervision simply ensures that a dog doesn’t have the opportunity to treat the cover like a chew toy.

When your cover is brand new, the fabric is at its strongest and toughest point. We intentionally build our covers using extremely heavy-duty fibers designed for long-term durability. Paired with the stain-guard and waterproofing layer applied at the factory, the surface can feel slick the very first time you use it.

There’s a simple method to soften the fibers and make the top layer more receptive to traction almost immediately:

1. Lightly mist the top of the cover with water — no need to soak it.
2. Ball up the cover gently and let it sit for 15–20 minutes.
3. Hang it to air dry completely.

This process helps break in the heavy-duty fibers just enough to increase grip. It also softens the stain-guard and waterproofing layer, making them more flexible and less slick without reducing their protective performance.

Our covers use a tight-weave, heavy-duty fabric designed to prevent hair from getting embedded into the fibers. This keeps the cover cleaner over time and dramatically reduces long-term buildup.
However, certain hair types (fine, wiry, or static-prone coats) can still cling to the surface — especially after long car rides or outdoor adventures.

The quickest and easiest method requires no laundry:

1. Hang your cover — over a wall, fence, railing, or even two trash cans.
2. Lightly spray it off with a hose.

• The water breaks static and releases hair from the tight weave.
• Fur comes off much easier than brushing or lint-rolling.

3. Hang to air dry.

The cover dries quickly, and this method leaves it exceptionally clean without soaking or machine washing.

Because the weave is tight, hair sits on thesurfacerather than embedding deeply. Water helps release any stubborn strands so they rinse off effortlessly.

No. A simple hose-off is enough for routine hair removal. Machine washing is only needed for deep cleaning, mud, or odors.

Yes — here’s a quick video showing exactly how easy this method is:
